Designers we love : Una Burke

Úna Burke is a luxury leather accessories designer who utilises traditional leather-working skills in the creation of sculptural belts, corsets, jewellery, handbags and abstract body pieces. I love her use of the craftmenship in leather with such skimpy and complex shapes. Uncomfortable but amazingly impressive!

Manon Kundig grande gagnante du prix de la créativité de la Royale Academie d'Anvers nous plonge dans un univers d'imprimés aux couleurs éclatantes mais aussi reprenant des symboles très réalistes formant un ensemble psychédélique à la sauce moderne. On aime ou pas mais ce sont les grands designers de demain et avec Walter Van Beirendonck aux commandes du département mode et Raf Simons dans le jury, on n'en doute pas!
