The Hotel 1898 is where to stay in Barcelona. Well located on La Rambla, amazing interior design in a colonial spirit, a spa and the hightlight, the rooftop with its pool.
If you cannot afford these facilities as I did, the best is to enjoy the rooftop for a cocktail. I tried it daytime for schedule reason and it was a wonderful experience. No one there. I think I could even had had a swim without anyone noticing it...
Definately you should try the irresistible mushrooms croquetas, the Bellota and the pan con tomate and martinis. Just relax in the couch and enjoy the view.
